Icon's Image was bred in the Rhineland by Herman Schneider, who also bred and owns his sire Icon.

Icon is a Grand Prix dressage stallion in Germany, combining the colour of Ico and the highest calibre of breeding from his dam a St. Pr. St. mare by the Hanovarian Widerruf. Ico needs no introduction, but please see below for further information about this prolific sire. Icon's dam Harmonie XXVIII is bred from pure and long established Trakener lines. Of all the continental warm-bloods the Trakeners are the toughest, their survival only ensured after a long and desperate journey from behind the iron curtain at the end of WW2. Sires such as Pregel, Magnet and Index all appear in Harmonie's bloodlines.
